Quincy L. Allen
qallen@canyonpartners.comQuincy Allen is Managing Director of Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC and is a member of the Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds' investment and senior management committees. During his tenure at Canyon, Mr. Allen has been responsible for the sourcing, structuring, financing and oversight of numerous highly structured investments nationwide. As part of his role, Mr. Allen identifies and oversees new debt and equity investments in markets in the Southwest Region.
Mr. Allen has nearly 20 years experience in finance and real estate investment. During his career Mr. Allen has been responsible for the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of over $8.0 billion of real estate in various sectors including multifamily, retail, hospitality, office and industrial. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Allen was at Lazard Freres Real Estate Investors and joined the firm in order to restructure and workout entity-level investments in their fund portfolios. Prior to Lazard, he was Vice President with Archstone Communities Trust, which was previously an affiliate of Security Capital Group. While at Archstone, Mr. Allen was a regional investment officer where he was responsible for acquisitions of existing assets and ground up development opportunities. Prior to Archstone, Mr. Allen began his career with Security Capital Group where he worked on principal investments. Mr. Allen is a graduate of Wayne State University (B.S., Summa Cum Laude) and Harvard University School of Business Administration (MBA).
Mr. Allen is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), National Multi-Housing Council (NHMC) and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP).
