Eliot Bencuya

Mr. Bencuya is responsible for underwriting and analyzing potential investment opportunities and assisting in deal execution. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Bencuya was an Associate at Sovereign Investment Company where he underwrote, structured and executed portfolio acquisitions of net-leased assets and sale-leaseback financings. Prior to Sovereign, Mr. Bencuya worked as an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. He is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., Economics and International Studies) and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley (M.B.A., Honors). He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.
