Jeff Chen
jchen@canyonpartners.comJeff Chen is a Vice President of Taxation for Canyon Partners, LLC. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Chen was an Assistant Vice President of Tax for Oaktree Capital Management, LP where he was responsible for servicing tax compliance needs of Oaktree's private equity series of funds. Prior to Oaktree, Mr. Chen was a Tax Manager in the Federal Tax Services group at KPMG LLP, where he focused on the investment advisory, financial services and real estate industries. Mr. Chen graduated cum laude with B.A. degrees in Psychology and Business Economics with a minor in Accounting from the University of California at Los Angeles. He then went on to earn a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation degree from Loyola Law School. Mr. Chen is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the State Bar of California.
