Canyon Value Opportunity Fund
The Canyon Value Opportunity Fund (CVOF) is a closed-end real estate fund managed by Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC. The Partnership has been established to take advantage of market conditions that create opportunistic and distressed real estate opportunities presented to Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, Canyon's Value Mortgage Separate Accounts program, and Canyon's corporate hedge funds that do not fit these funds' specific investment objectives but are otherwise compelling opportunities that are consistent with Canyon's fundamental thesis.
The Partnership's objectives are to seek current income and capital appreciation by attempting to identify, enhance, and capture unrecognized value through the acquisition, development, redevelopment, recapitalization and repositioning of real estate and the acquisition of non-performing loans and mortgages directly or indirectly secured by real estate.
